FCC Licensing - is it for you?
FCC Licensing for Two-Way Radios (UHF / VHF)

An FCC license is basically the government’s permission slip to use certain two-way radio channels. It tells you which channels you’re allowed to use, how strong your signal can be, and what you’re allowed to use it for.
The FCC makes these rules so different groups — like police, firefighters, pilots, radio stations, and businesses — don’t accidentally talk over each other or interfere with important communications.
